But some already think they have been in the Great Lakes.
https://blog.nationalgeographic.org/2013/11/02/geography-in-the-news-asian-carp/

The introduction of the Asian Carp was intentional. Humans thought that bringing the Asian Carp to the US would help with dietary preferences. At first, the Asian Carp was actually helping the organisms in its habitat. But a flood caused caused the Asian Carp to be able to escape their private ponds and facilities, and they spread quickly. Asian Carp reproduce very quickly.
https://www.fws.gov/columbiariver/ans/factsheets/Asian_carp.pdf

What is the species impact on the ecosystem?

The impact of the Asian Carp to the ecosystem is extremely harsh. The way that Carp eat their food may lead to stream bank erosion, increased water turbidity, wide swings in water and oxygen levels, siltation of fish spawning grounds, a loss of important fish habitat, or a reduction in the food base for organisms such as waterfowl. The Asian Carp have also been a huge part of significant reduction native freshwater mussel and snail populations. This may lead to declining in the organisms that consume these organisms.
https://www.fws.gov/columbiariver/ans/factsheets/Asian_carp.pdf

How can we prevent more invasions from this organisms?

Unfortunately, there is no perfect way that is for sure going to get rid of the Asian Carp. Some think that we can use the shock treatment (or fish fry) to prevent more invasions of the Asian Carp. Others say we can build fences to make sure they won't escape their habitat. Another way we can get rid of the Asian Carp is to use sound sensitivity. Carp are sensitive to sound. You can send the sound you don't want the Carp to go, and they will go the other way.
https://www.popularmechanics.com/science/environment/a6233/how-to-stop-the-carp-invasion/
