He was standing on his balcony on the second floor of the Motel when he was shot by James Earl Ray. But as they arrived they met the Arkansas National Guard and a screaming, threatening mob. They tried again a few weeks later and made it inside. But were removed because violence started to occur. President Eisenhower ordered federal troops to escort the little rock nine from class to class. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>14 year old Emmett Till on August 28, 1955 was murdered for flirting with a white woman. The woman's  husband and his brother made Emmett carry a 75 pound cotton gin to Tallahatchie River. Made him take off his clothes and brutally beat him, gouged his eye out shot him in the head tied him to the cotton gin and thrown in the river with barbed wire.</div>]]></description>
