Sometimes students stress over things us as adults, teachers, and people wouldn't stress over. As future teachers we should recognize when this occurs and accommodate for the students. A lot of the time we think things like, "they are fine its no big deal" Whe
n in reality it is the reason they are upset and it should be recognized.

Students need to understand that the whole reason for emotions is because they care- that is the root. Teachers should first communicate with students to discover the emotions they are feeling about an assignment, for example, then create a game plan to take action with the student to shift from one emotion to another to move towards a more positive mindset.

"So I understand you're concerned about the final grade for your assignment. Is there anything you don't understand? How can I help you to feel more comfortable? Let's chat. Do you feel better? That's great!"
