1. The first image shows famine. The second image show<del>s</del> the women who <del>is</del> are witches are burnt <del>ai</del> alive at the stake. The third image shows the <del>disability</del> disabled people, their hands have been cut off. The last image shows the people after being told that their homes will be destroyed. <del>by</del> For a hydraulic dam, they lost their home.

2. If famine happened in society, people will be hungry everyday, and many people will die because of it.

3. The first image shows the well-fed man steal<del>s</del>ing a bag of maize from a starving child. I think the man has enough food to eat but he wants <del>more</del> to earn more money, it is unfair to the people who was hungry at that time, just like the starving child. The second image shows the injustice of witch<del>ed</del>s. The third image shows the injustice of Congolese children and adults. The last image shows the injustice of the chief of a Brazilian rainforest tribe.

4. The rich people and people of high rank. They have a rich life, But they were not satisfied. They plundered the poor people's money and food, so they will be richer and richer, the poor people will be poorer and poorer.

5. I think it is not possible. When we decide to do something that seems to be just to somebody, but actually, it is an injustice for other people. When you have power, you can make everything just to you. Sometimes absolute fairness will bring moral kidnapping to the society and delay the progress of the whole society. So whether the outcome is fair or not depends on the circumstances and the interests of the majority at the time.

6. We can learn that there are so many poor people all around the world, we need to help them. The government can give them a chance to have a job not just give them money. We need to give them a space to show <del>themself</del>, themselves and let them earn money by <del>themself </del>themselves. We can help, but don't give. So the rich people will not feel injustice.

Excellent work! Also, some very good and interesting. ideas.

1.These images are showing social injustices. The first picture happened during famine, showing a wealthy man stealing food from a starving boy who needs food urgently. The boy is suffering from starvation, while the man didn't help but took the precious food the boy had left.
The second picture shows a woman suffering from the ignorance and superstitions people had back then.
The third picture describes people suffering from the tyranny and the abuse of their authority.
The last image demonstrates a tribe suffering from the loss of their assets and the unfair decision making due to the enormous gap between the power of the policy makers and the local residents.

2. The fundamental human right of local citizens are deprived and cannot be guaranteed. The unawareness of the power and sources of imbalance of distribution will finally lead to the polarization and weaken the social stability. The economic depression, revolt, decreased birth rate, acceleration of aging issues will come one after another.

3. The injustice in the first image is the food imbalanced distribution and selfishness; the second is about ignorance and gender discrimination. The third image shows tyranny of racial discrimination. The last image demonstrates the carelessness of the policy makers (not considering the consequences this behavior might bring to the whole tribe).

4. The common stakeholder (who gain profits) in these four images <del>is</del> are the authorities and the governments.

5. There is a chance to fix these problems but it will require a lot of time, money, support<del>s</del> and cooperation<del>s</del>. These four cases can be divided into two categories injustice.
The case of the starving boy and the case of the local tribe are considered in the same category. A quote from the book Justice by Michael Sandel, "To ask whether a society is just is to ask how it distributes the things we prize---income and wealth, duties and rights, powers and opportunities, offices and honors. A just society distributes these goods in the right way; it gives each person his or her due." During the famine, and other crisis as well, the governments should be taking steps to ensure the resources can be distributed equally (impossible to be exactly equal, try to divide those as equal as we can). At this special time, the government can even ask the wealthy people to share some food or other resources with the poor, and according to utilitarianism it is just to rub the rich and help the poor in order to maximize the happiness. However, when evaluating the case of the local tribe, sticking to the utilitarian ideas harms the right of the tribe. We should still build the dam while asking for permission or a better solution from the tribes beforehand. The second category involves libertarianism. First, about slavery, according to libertarianism, we own ourselves. Here is some more detailed explanation. A quote from Justice, " if people force you to do certain work, or unrewarded work, for a period of time, they decide what you are to do and what purpose your work is. That makes them a part-owner of you............if I own myself, I own my labor. But if I own my labor, I must be entitled to the fruits of my labor." People own themselves, when forcing them to collect rubber, and cut their hand if they did not reach the quota, therefore it violates the basic right of liberty. Rewarded works will be better. In addition, the case of the witch also violates the right to liberty. When deciding other people's lives, in other words, we own them. This also violates and deprives their right to liberty. Giving fair trials and a scientific method to punish guilty people (no matter what gender) will be a better alternative. These approaches will be better to achieve (What?) in the present. The ignorance of people is the root cause of those ridiculous acts. As society has gradually become more civilized, less tragedies caused by superstitions will happen.

6. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Do not discriminate or set up unjust rules.

This is really excellent well thought out and researched. It is a pleasure to read. Don't worry about correcting your essays because you took so much time and effort. Job well done.
