I have seen (and facilitated) Skillstreaming in an elementary school environment. However, it was used exclusively in Resource Rooms, with groups of only 2-4 students at a time. I think that it could be implemented in a classroom, but because it requires small groups to allow all children to participate in the role play, I think the best way to implement it would be during stations or as an activity for a breakout group. -Jillian Long

This is an awesome strategy to hear about. I teach students with high functioning autism and teaching pro-social behaviors can be quite the challenge and something I feel that is neglected in curriculum. I am definitely going to implement this in my classroom.
