On a Montgomery, Alabama bus black passengers were given certain seats which was the back of the bus while the whites sat in the front. 

 Rosa Parks a 42 year old woman was arrested for not giving up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama bus.

This caused a spark to build in the black community for civil rights.

Due to the arrest of Rosa Parks, the civil rights leader including Martin Luther King met up with each other in Atlanta, Georgia to protest against segregation.

The civil rights leader gave their support by getting everyone to go to church Sunday. They put it in new papers and speeches. 

This caused African Americans to refuse to ride the bus anymore and walk to where they needed to go.

Nine black students are blocked from entering Central High School and Eisenhower sends federal troops to protect the students but are harassed.

The whites wanted the school to be segregated and didn't want their kids to be in the same school with black people.

This caused many protests to happened due to this happening.
