This will have a profound effect on Singapores society and economy . Demands will rise for services such as healthcare . There will be a smaller pool of working-age singaporeans to support the older generation , and potentially affecting our economy . The rapid pace of ageing means that we have a much shorter time frame to adapt to these changes .

The problem is that as the ageing population slowly wither away there is a need of replacement for a growing population in order to keept the nation going.

So they decide to leave the elderlys at a shether as they dont have time to spend time with their elders. 

But, where are these elderly shelters? Even residents disagree of building an old folks home near their neighborhood as it would be a burden in two things.
