*What this means is that people have the ability to be protected from the government taking there property. The government cannot take papers or people without a valid warrant.

*What this amendment means is that restrictions are imposed on the government's prosecution of persons accused of crimes. It prohibits the ability of the government to testify against you.

*This amendment guarantees a speedy trial, an impartial jury, and that the accused individual can confront witnesses against them, and that the accused individual must be allowed to have a lawyer in order for his defense.

*What this means is that individuals have the right to a jury trial in certain civil cases and inhibits courts from overturning a jury's findings of fact. This amendment also guarantees a jury trial in federal civil court cases.

*What this amendment does is it prohibits the federal government from imposing excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel and unusual punishments. Simply, it protects you from cruel punishments.

*What this means is that other rights aside from those listed may exist, and just because they are not listed doesn't mean they can be violated. This amendment also addresses rights  retained by the people, that are not specifically listed in the Constitution.
