1. Since we only have a short amount of time to use each day, goal setting is vital to getting the most out of it. the textbook stated, "Goals are critical. They keep you focused on what’s important, and allow you to make the best use of your 24 hours each day," (11).
2. Happiness needs to be considered the most when creating your health plan. Unit 2 says, "Connect goals to the ultimate currency: happiness!" (12).
3. Giving up is very easy to do. The text states, "It’s both easy and common to give up on goals... That’s why it’s essential that goals be discrete and achievable," (13).

My overall goal in life is to always have a positive outlook. Having a positive attitude changes everything for the better. It makes life easier to live and less stressful. Just saying I will always be positive is not enough, I must have smaller goals along the way. For example, today (hopefully everyday after as well) I will make sure to show at least 1 person that I am grateful for something they do. I have heard that showing gratitude makes it easier to be happy. Another thing I can do is not make things a bigger deal than they are. For example, I have a mock interview for a class this Tuesday, I have been way overthinking it and stressing over it. I realize now that if i just practice twice each day from until then, I will be fine. As long as I keep setting small goals along the way, I will be sure to never give up on this attainable goal.
