The main centerpiece shows a Gecko which represents my pet gecko I got last year during the peek of Covid. I felt that in order for me to feel needed and useful in such a hard time, I needed something that needed me back. I got Franklin because I knew that he would need constant maintenance 24/7 which has helped me a lot throughout the past year. The noose represents the hard times that Franklin my gecko has saved me from. I feel like because I got this pet, it has allowed me to open up and realize that life isn’t going to show any mercy, and I’m going to have to make my own destiny. Franklin has given me immense amounts of happiness, and it now considered my pride and joy. I designed him in a simple way because I feel that simple things like a small 4 inch gecko can provide more than something glamorous and expensive. Simplicity seems to please me more than something that someone paid money for, or something with extensive amounts of “fluff”.
