So, why aren't there more people in this largely prosperous country? The reason is that the conditions are pretty cold and unpleasant there. The more north you go in Canada the less people you see and that says a lot. Canada is among many countries that are around the 30 million mark. Canada very closely compares to Morocco with a population difference of only a million and very similar yearly growth rates of Canada being a .89% growth and Morocco having a 1.2% growth rate. Another country Canada closely relates to is Australia because even though the populations are far from each other, they both have a very low density of only single digits for both (Canada=4, Australia=3). The first was mentioned in my first sub article; the natural resources. Canada's natural resources span a large area with them being eighth in agricultural exports and second in Uranium exports. Canada also is fourth in freshwater sources with 2,902  cubic kilometers of fresh water. As shown in example A, you can see how plenty of resources are spread across Canada making it a more enjoyable place to live. 

Another factor that is a factor to the population, but not a good one is temperature. As I have said in my first Sub article, the temperature and climate drives people away a lot. You can clearly see this from the graph of temperatures(B) in Canada. Some of Nunavut reaching -28 degrees Celsius. That's -82 degrees Fahrenheit!
