  • One action that we could do to have gender equality in the household is dividing in
  • an equitative way all the chores and having to work the same hours for each person in the family. The wife and husband should have the same amount of chores and none of them should be working more in the house.
  •   Another action that we can implement is to do campaigns informing people about gender inequality and domestic violence, this way people will create conscience and have a better knowledge about what has been happening in the world since forever. This type of action, if done correctly, can help to decrease the problem of gender inequality and domestic violence.
  •  Stop domestic violence. This one is very important because people could get really hurt. Neither men or women should be physically abused or in any way. To stop this type of action we could do a lot of things. If you know someone that is abused in the household, report it to the authorities and talk to a professional.
  •   Help women gain power, very few women are part of the legislative bodies or the government. We should help them to be part of the important decisions of our country. We can do that by voting for women in elections and be a part of the change on gender inequality.
  •  Not excluding girls from different activities just because they are girls. They could do the same things as you, not because you think that some activities are boys activities. You don’t have to exclude a girl from doing that activity. Some jobs like office jobs, or technology related jobs, can be done exactly the same by womens and mens.
