Extreme couponing is a typical American phenomenon. 
People who participate at extreme couponing try to save as much money as possible, they do their groceries and collect as much coupons as possible. They often see this as an internal battle with fellow extreme couponers. 
'Normal' people who go grocery shopping buy the stuff they need, with extreme couponers this is not the case. They buy stuff when it is on sale. As a result of this, extreme couponers often have an enormous storage with food and stuff like shampoo. 
Who thinks extreme couponing is just a hobby is wrong. The people who participate at this are truly committed and some of them will even give up their jobs to get the latest sales. 
It does not only requires a lot of commitment, but also a lot of organisation. You need to collect as much as coupons as possible and your timing needs to be perfect. Besides this you also have to do a lot of calculating, because when they end up at the checkout and see that it still costs $10, they are very disappointed.
It is typical American, because it is almost the only country where you can use so much coupons at one time.

We see that almost every country is choosing for more healthy food, except for the Americans. 
One reason why Americans are still eating that much junk food is the lack of money. Some menus at the McDonalds only cost $1, while there is almost no healthy food that can be found for such an amount of money. 
Another reason is the case that Americans are way too busy. So busy that they often do not have the time to prepare a decent meal. I personally think that this is a poor reason because a salad is just as simple as an instant meal.
I think the most logical reason is just their taste. They choose the taste of a hamburger over the taste of cauliflower. 
Besides this, junk food is addictive. Nowadays junk food companies have tricks which make your brain believe that you are not consuming any calories, because of this you continue eating. 
Because of loads of sugar, salt and fat people are not interested in normal food anymore. But she reached the top by herself anyway. This is one of the reasons that she inspires people. 
This is not the only reason why she inspires people this much, she also offers a lot of money to several charities. She is known as the most generous celebrity of all times. Think about women's and children charities, animal rescue charities, etc. Besides this, she also set up her own charity which is called Ophra's Angel Network. This charity helps poor families to have a better life.
Oprah Winfrey is the first African-American woman who has reached a billionaire status. As said earlier she donates a lot of this money to charities, but not only charities. When natural disasters happen, think about hurricane Katrina, Oprah is the first person who is willing to help the victims of these disasters. He was known as one of the best and inspirational presidents of America ever. 
The first period he went through without any big trouble, this because of his big quality and the great team around him. Only later when he ensured the taxes on liquor people began the rebel. (Whiskey Rebellion)
He also had an important role in the American Revolution.
President George ensured a great training for the American soldiers, even though he had a strong army, he lost almost every battle he fought in. But because of his courage and perseverance, he became the hero of the Americans.
When he won from the Brits he left the army and went back to the countryside. 
While George Washington was a president there also came another constitution. 
This all ensured a solid federation.
In March 1797 George Washington passed his presidentship to John Adams. He went back to Mount Vernon and became old. He later died in 1999, his death was sad, not only for the Americans, but also for the rest of the world.
