the bread prices were brought up because of bread harvest was poor. lots of people were losing jobs because of political and social discontent

the second republic was created by King Louis Philippe which brought an end to the protest and fighting in 1848.

a new movement was made called male suffrage and it gave voting rights to all people in France and not just land owners.
