"Learning about and with the world occurs within and outside of school, and it is the work of a lifetime"

The hardest part this year was family involvement and parental comments about the Community Projects. Some parents would ask why they need to do the project or since pathways "doesn't matter" then why do the kids have to do it? I think we need to communicate as a school the importance of the Community Project and tie it in/drive it home as a building to remind parents that learning happens in AND outside of the classroom. That in order to create balanced, caring, and reflective students, it is nice to have parent support.
