It was this eye opener to the reality of what goes on in this world. One thing I learned that I will always have on my mind, is even if everything looks fine from your side of the screen, the person on the other side could be feeling the total opposite. I will always remember that, and try my best to check on others to make sure they're doing well. Thank you teaching us valuable information!
Mahalo nui loa!! :)

Mahalo Kumu Keliʻi and Kumu Luana for sharing about healthy and abusive relationships this week. I learned more about a healthy relationship and how unhealthy relationships can hurt people physically and mentally if they don't talk it out and/or get help. I also learned about different forms of a healthy relationship from the "Equality Wheel." I thought having a healthy relationship was just about being honest, supportive, happy, and having communication to each other. But there's more to it like boundaries, negotiation, fairness, and much more! I know this will help me in the future, so I want to say thank you again!

The teaching I will make an effort to help others with is what to do and what not to do when being an upstander. I now know itʻs best to not to do things like tell them(the victim) what to do and insult the abuser. I also know to offer help and advice. Again, mahalo for sharing your knowledge on such an important topic to learn about. :)
