Each day the students see how many they answered correctly in the time allowed. I think goal setting could really lend itself here as students reflect on their performance and think about where they would like to grow in the coming day/week, maybe even graphing it day to day to see how each child is moving towards their goal.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used the Google slide template for my 4th grade STEM classes. Students are assessing themselves at the beginning and end of our ecosystems unit. My 5th grade STEM classes are using padlet embedded into eCLASS to tell me what they learned about cells in science class with their teachers. Students in grades 2-3 will use an electronic checklist in MYeCLASS for an upcoming map project on GA regions and Native American Regions.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>4th grade students are assessing their melodic and rhythmic knowledge prior to beginning their recorder units of study.  They are shown a song example to help accurately assess their current knowledge.  We will revisit these goals after 6 lessons to allow students to see the progress they are making in music literacy, as demonstrated through recorder playing.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used a narrative writing checklist to have my students assess their own narrative writing. We have been working on the unit all quarter, so they picked their favorite piece of writing and looked over it with the checklist. They decided if they were at a "yes", "starting to", or "not yet" for each category. Then they set a goal to work on the categories they got a not yet or starting to in to move them towards a yes and improve their writing.&nbsp;<br><br>My students got excited to see the areas they were succeeding in and the areas they could improve before we publish their final piece.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With the help of our technology leaders I added a writing survey created by Julianna and Maria to my eClass page. This survey allows my students to set their writing goals as an end of unit reflection. The goals echo the writing skills we have discussed in writer’s workshop so far this year. The survey helped my students reflect upon what they have been doing well in writing and what they can focus their attention on in the future. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The students took time at the beginning of the year to talk over areas they will work on for the beginning part of the year to improve upon Reading and Math, based on data from the BAS and Big 20 respectively. The also set a writing goal for themselves at the beginning of our first unit by looking at a writing checklist to determine an area they would like to see improvement on while they write their first pieces.&nbsp;<br>As we near the end of the first semester, we will sit down and re-evaluate their goals and talk about whether or not they have met those goals and what news ones they could work towards.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since all students in my classroom have an IEP which contains goals and objectives, I decided to pull goals from their IEPs to continue to work on in the classroom. All students have either a behavior goal or a social/emotional goal. Goals were individually discussed with students and visuals were used to help students progress on their goals.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used a student learning inventory and interviewed each child to find their preferred learning style. Then we transferred that information onto a goal setting graphic organizer. We reviewed it daily to make sure we are staying on target. For example, if a student likes to stand vs sit, they wrote a goal that states, "I will communicate to my teachers when I need to stand." We will use the discussion board on eClass and record our goals there. We will monitor our progress using a student guided data collection sheet.</div>]]></description>
