I think In Mice and Men one theme is that dreams are not destined to come true. For example George and Lennie have a dream to buy a house, and have all kinds of animals. But it never happens because Lennie messes up. And George killed him, and both of there dream.

The them of the "impossibility of the American Dream", In "Of Mice and Men", is seen in George and Lennie's life. They have a dream of owning a house and working on the farm. They run the risk of being fired or run out of town. They always seem to be getting into trouble so the reality of fulfilling their dreams is difficult.

What I think the theme ''Of Mice and Men'' is that not everything becomes true. Lennie and George want to get a house, and have rabbits, and more animals. But none of it happends beacuse sometimes not everything that you want becomes true.thats what I think the theme is.

I think that the theme in ''Of Mice and Men'' is that thing are not always going to go as planed. For example, George and Lennie wanted to have a house with all kind of , but they never seem to have enough money to buy it. Lennie and George had planned to go live in the house in two months but Lennie did a bad thing and that got them both in a lot of trouble. They never did get the house because not everything that you want happens.

The theme for "Of Mice and Men" is that not all the things you hope for will come true. George, Candy,and Lennie were thinking that they were able to get the "little place" by the end of the month. They were working hard to get enough money but sadly, Lennie made a huge mistake. Lennie commited murder which made him a murderer. At the end, George ended Lennie's life so he wouldnt suffer from the wrath of Curley.So dont get your hopes high...

in the theme "Of Mice and Men" is a pretty bad theme because you have the two men who only think about the future and never the past. they think of what they are going to do and that is totally bad. you are not supposed to dream about the future. you are only supposed to think about now and thats how its been. the answer to the theme is right in the title called "Of Mice and Men" because the mice thinks about the now and the man thinks only of the future.

YOOO Ms. Dillon i think the theme "of Mice and Men" is not always about dreams coming true. for example when George Lennie and candy wanted to have there own little farm where they could have crops have Rabbits,but everything went horribly wrong when Lennie killed Curlys wife. Thats why the theme is that dreams don't always come true.

I think the theme of "Of Mice and Men" is not everything is going to be how you want it to be. For example Lennie wanted him and George to have their own little place with lots of different animals. It didn't turn out that way. Instead Lennie did something bad and George had to kill him. It didnt turn out how Lennie wanted it to be.

The theme in "Of Mice and Men" is "friendship". George always stays with Lennie no matter how much trouble Lennie gets the two in, and Lennie always stays with George no matter how cruel George sometimes can be to Lennie and the only reason they do stay together is friendship. A good example of this comes in the start of the book when Lennie gets in trouble for grabbing the girl in the red dress and George has to bail him out of trouble but they stay together due to the strong friendship they share.

The them in "Of Mice and Men" is things don't always go as you think. George and Lennie thought they'd get to the farm, work, and earn money for awhile. What they thought didn't come true, they had to walk to the farm, and they had troubles with one of the guys at the farm. For example, Curly picked on Lennie and they thought it would be okay if they ignored him, but that was not the case. Curly beat Lennie, and Lennie caused trouble George had to fix. It was not what they thought was going to happen.
