Sara and her mother fled to a small city called Kuturla for a short time. Shortly after they got there Sara was told she had to go by other villagers which told Sara they would keep and hide her mother in safety. Sara decided to become a andarte (resistance fighter). She went from village to village to find women who wanted to make a change too. Sara and all of the women worked together and acted immensely and wisely on taking out the Nazis, which left the men impressed. Even with all of this the women still didn't get all of the credit because most people couldn't believe women could accomplish such thing.
