To multiply or divide integers, first ignore the signs and multiply or divide normally. Then we determine our answer based on the signs in the equation, if both integers are the same the answer is positive, if both integers are different the answer is negative.

So basically what I do is that I divide and/or multiply normally and then change it to positive or negative based on what the question is so for example : -7 x 2 : so I just multiply 7 x 2 normally and then make it negative since the integers are different.

For me, we can just multiply or divide integers by simply multiplying and dividing the numbers. There is no difference of rules, but there is one thing to change and that one thing to change are the symbols. If the question states that there are 2 alike symbols, then the answer is positive, if the question states that the symbols are different, then the answer will be negative.

And also if the signs are positive and positive the answer is positive and it is the same for negative but if the signs are different like : negative x positive = negative.
