My name is Linsey Groppe-Unthank. Welcome to my portfolio! This site showcases my current progress as an Integrative Studies student, IST course-related work, and work from other courses.

I am currently a full-time student at Northern Kentucky University. I'm in my sophomore year, pursuing a B.A., with a minor in English, a minor in Marketing, and a focus in Communications. 

My main goal is to be something in the Physical Education world. I wanted to be a P.E. teacher for so long until I devised a better idea. I want to open a gym with my sister and work together to help others create whatever healthy lifestyle they want. Physical education is important for a person's body and mind, and I want to be someone who can help people be active and healthy.  

I deeply care about the rights of others, especially when it comes to the things that they create and protecting those creations. When I go into Chase Law, I will be primarily focusing on copyright law as well as potentially corporate law. With the rise of AI generated content, I find it my duty as a future attorney to provide legal protections and establish stances against AI as well as their generative programs (such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, and so on). 

I am creating this for my IST class but encourage you to explore my portfolio.

I am a international student form Nepal.

This is my last semester, and I am set to graduate this December. Iam a Computer Science major with a minor in Data Science. I am a big Cricket fan and love playing this sport.

Times will come where my decisions will impact others’ lives directly and I will not fail to make them with the individuals and companies’ best interest in mind.

I will not lead from the back; I will lead by example and show others that it is possible and beneficial to do as I do and not as I say.

Slow is smooth... and smooth is fast. I will not rush and make mistakes that will negatively affect my colleagues or the company.

I have always been drawn to career fields that center around mentorship and education of young professionals. Through receiving my MAIS degree, I intend to sharpen my skills, further my education, and better prepare myself to be the advisor students on NKU's campus need!

In my free time, I enjoy reading cheesy romance novels, creative writing, performing in local theatre, and spending time with my sweet precious baby angel kitten, Poppy. 

I have a passion for helping students succeed in their academic careers and achieving their goals. I enjoy working with at-risk student populations to help them develop the skills needed to be successful students. With my MAIS, I hope to continue my career in higher education, working to develop programs, policies, and practices that are aimed at student success. 

When I am not on campus I can be found hanging out with my husband, chasing our two kiddos, or relaxing with our dog. We are enjoying being in the tri-state area and love to explore all there is to offer our family. After living in the deep south for 6 years, this Midwest family is happy to be back where we belong. 

After realizing I wanted to continue my education, I entered the MAIS Program to focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as social emotional learning in higher education.

In my free time, I enjoy playing board games and video games, as well as spending time with my dog, Zelda.

Outside of school and work I live with my husband, Scot, and our 5 cats. I am experimenting with growing our own food and collecting rainwater. I also spend quiet time in nature looking for birds. If I had the resources and time, I would take a “Big Year” and travel for one year just birding. 

I am 22 years old. I currently attend Northern Kentucky University.  I am an only child with one dog, I was always active in some type of sports team to make those friendships that felt like siblings. I played basketball, football, and baseball all growing, when I got to high school I only play basketball and baseball. 

Sports have always been my biggest passion and intrest. I've loved sports from the moment I could pick up a ball. I think they're fun, but they also allow you to make friendships that will never fissel out. I think sports provide life lessons and relationships you can't get anywhere else. 

Another passion for me is animals. I love everything about animals, when I was little I would beg my mom to take me to the zoo everyday. I think they're so fasinating. One of my first memories was with my grandpa and him taking me to see the tigers at the zoo.
