Was born on 1928 in Pitsburgh, he studied at the Cornegie Institute of technology.
In 1948 Andy moved to New York and he changed his name to Wharol and after he started to work; in the years after the artist started to try new methods to make art and in 1960 experimented his first potraits. The years after (1961) he marked a pivotal point on his carrer doing his first Pop art and subsequently Andy opened ‘The Factory’ that was andy’s first studio. 
Andy also invented a new way to make art, Silkscreen, a method for make the same image lots of times.
