Observations that were made on the bread include:
- Easily breakable
- Crunchy and crumbly
- Has hardened
- There is no mold growth
Overall, we think that there was no bread mold growth maybe because of the environment which the bread was in. We think this because mold likes to grow the most in dark places, but we put our bread in the light. Maybe our mistake was there but we think there might have been another component in the mold growth which we didn't have.

Today, our group observed that a few spots in the middle of the top of the bread (where we drizzled some water) had mold growth. The mold was mostly light gray, but there was some green and pink. It had a furry texture and part of it was stuck to the Ziploc bag. Our bread molded more as there was an absence of visible mold on Tuesday. We believe that it molded more today because we didn’t put as much water. This is why it took longer.
