There is no entrance fee to get into the Channel Islands National Park/ Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. You would have to take a boat or a plane to get here. The cost for a boat is $56 to $160 per person depending on where you are coming from. For a plane it takes roughly $150 to 160 per adult round trip. The length of the trip takes one to three hours by boat or about half an hour by plane.

-I would go diving in a kelp forest in the waters surrounding the Channel Islands.
- When diving in a kelp forest you can see so many different species of marine plants and animals. It is also a good way to see a rich, diverse, and threatened ecosystem.

I picked this area because they are extremely important to humans and animals. Kelp provide nursery areas, and shelter(Predators & Storms). They also help fuel the food web. They absorb nutrients from the water and make it available to a variety of species that rely on their blades. Kelp also plays a major role in coastal economies. For example it is a home to sea urchins which is a prized possession for local fisherman.
