At the jr high level I have a hard time with format 1 letting the other kids give the answer due to peer pressure issues and mimicking. We spend the beginning of school year practicing routines and even review after Christmas. I feel like I did a better job of this as an elementary teacher, but I do practice routines a lot in the science classroom.
