Presently a resident of Ray, northwest of Bismarck, Carol Jacobson has an abiding interest in exploring historical sites of the American West. She once had the opportunity to travel along the Oregon Trail from Nebraska to the Pacific Coast. Of Norwegian ancestry, Ms. Jacobson also had the opportunity to visit the Lillehammer, Norway, area and explore farms where the family resided dating back to the late 16th century. She and her husband Rod made a second home in Big Sky, Montana, and took numerous family vacations to the residence over the years. With a passion for spending time with her relatives, in all she has 13 grandchildren. Ms. Jacobson is an avid sports fan who particularly enjoys NFL action and supports the Green Bay Packers.
