gratitude helps you appreciate your past, find peace in the present, and build a hopeful future. By knowing the past with gratitude, you can understand and accept it, turning challenges into lessons. Focusing on what you have today brings peace by revealing that you already have enough, while the hope inspired by gratitude creates a positive and clear vision for tomorrow, i think this may show my future because I'm not really in that type of phase were its know for the past but more for my future.

I feel like my best Christmas was in 2024 probably because I went to my sister's house to celebrate and my fc(favorite cousin) came over which made it even better. We had a great breakfast the day of my mom made some eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and such. I also went outside for a minute with my fc that was pretty fun we made some tik toks. I also got pretty much everything I wanted plus extra stuff that my sisters bought me. Overall it was a great Christmas I was with my sisters and brothers everything felt great I love being with family it's the best thing, no fighting, no arguments, just the joy of us being together it was really nice.

Yes I do in-fact that someone is the Grinch himself, he steals joy, presents, and happiness all at once. Even if he were to see you jolly he would do something to make all that happiness fade away in seconds.

I would say to him "Your past experiences with Christmas sound painful, and we're sorry you were hurt. But it doesn't have to be that way forever". Or " You're not a "mean one" you just need a little love, and we'd like to share ours with you". It may not change him but I feel like it may help with all the overthinking about his past.

By Jan 13th, I will increase my MOY score by at least 20 points if we're talking about my recommended points they said at least 2-5 points, I will try my best to get those points it shouldn't take a lot for me as long as I pay attention and try my best to focus, because I know how easily I can get distracted and easily lose focus. I will also try my best to study or do anything in my power to have some type of boost before actually doing the diagnostic. I really want to increase my score because I want to be proud of something, and I really just want to get better regardless, I will do things like studying, and reading and writing, practicing my vocabulary and all. I will mostly focus on my vocabulary and writing, I'm already really good in reading so I don't need much practice on that, but more is better regardless.

I want to talk about what's happening next week, well in a few days, I ready testing, I'm very scared and nervous for it because I'm scared I'm not really going to do my best, but all I can do is think the best of it, I get unfocused fast and I feel like that going to happen. To add onto that I haven't really been on my A game recently, i wouldn't say I've been fooling around but sometimes I just really can't focus even if I put my mind to it, I really hope that doesn't happen on the test and I can try to improve. I'm not going to think about it too much, and I'm going to try to study and get good sleep in before the test so I can be completely focused. The first test I didn't take really serious although I got a great score, but I'm not going to do that on this test I'm actually going to take this one very serious, I'm almost at my last diagnostic and that's one too close, so I have to be on my A game.

Another question for today is, Why do they do this every single month for every year?.

I also know that they do this to celebrate what Famous creators and people back in the day did to help our world, and things of such.

I will find this information by looking into Black History Month pages and articles showing how all this started and how it began, and also by listening to songs watching movies based on BHM, and the effects back during those days and times.

While this tradition is a fun event, it's kind of disappointing to hear we're in for more cold weather when I am ready for spring.

The New York Times says NBA YoungBoy is a defining rap superstar because he is a super popular and a big deal in rap right now. In paragraph 6, the articles says he has earned "well over 100 platinum and gold certifications," showing how successful he is. That means he's a major figure in rap even if some people don't personally like his music, some people being me well i like his music just not him as a person because my husband does not like him " Lil Durk."

The article also says he's "hiding in plain sight" because his success isn't obvious to everyone. In paragraph 7, it says that "to much of the rest of the world, his success remains largely invisible," even though he's huge for his fans. I don't agree that he defines for the whole genre because his music can feel repetitive and negative to me sometimes, plus like i said Lil Durk is his opp so i just dislike him either was it goes, so i dont think his face should make him the face of rap.

The poet uses a lot of imagery strong imagery at that, to describe playing the violin. She makes it feel really intense, like the music isn't just sound but something that you can actually feel in your body. It almost feels emotional and physical at the same time. When i read it, I could imagine the movement of playing and the powerful sound of a violin kinda especially when she notes " sawing my bow across the strings".

The songs that came to my mind were

" All of Me" - John Legend

" Someone Like You" - Adele

" Love Yours" - J.

I am a girl as we all know, I'm very confident at times, while also at times I am not so confident. I do care what other people think, yes, i do. Words hurt and I feel like some people don't realize that but they do seriously. I love reading books, I love a good book here and there, and just reading in general, sometimes you need to put the phone down and pick up a book. I love having my hair done, or doing my hair (sometimes) it gets draining here and there when doing my hair so I barely do it, but I do when I really want it done. I love challenges, who doesn't like a good challenge here and there?, something to challenge me even if its hard, it works my brain in a good way. I love ELA, there may come times where it gets a little hard but I've always loved ELA, its my favorite subject. And last but not least I love dogs, I may not take good care of them when I have one but I have a deep connection with dogs, they're a great companion overall.

If YouTube or Instagram was to shut down or anything I feel like people would lose money cause people do stream on these platforms and or promote their businesses people could lose a lot of money from this. If they do ban it, it would be a horrible downfall for a lot cause those are the top apps, and leaving would be horrible.

People who are hooked to these platforms will be sad and or depressed and will probably need therapy, people really are attached to these apps so who knows the feelings that are about to be shown all over the world. Also most people got famous from these apps, like Tik Tok famous, or Instagram famous, they're all famous from something and it leaving would not make them famous anymore, well lets use another word for it probably known but not famous.

Holding on to your dreams is important to me because they give me a reason to keep going when things get tough. In his poem, Langston says that without dreams life is like a bird with a broken wing that can't fly, which shows how stuck you can feel without them. "The Hard Way" also reminds me that even though reaching a goal is difficult, the effort is worth it in the end. If you just give up you're technically letting go of your future and your potential. Keeping your dreams alive keeps you motivated through hard times and actually making something of yourself.

I'm not going to do much this weekend, I only plan on going shopping for my sneaker-ball and graduation. I really just need my shoes and graduation fit, other than that I dont think I'm going to do much. I'm going to probably invite my sister over just to have something to do maybe go around the block or something nothing much though.

What kind of superhero would you be?

If I was a superhero, I would be a federal prosecutor dedicated to uncovering the truth both in and out of the courtroom. My superpower would be like mind reading, for crime seeking and exposing dangerous criminals. I would wear dark colors with a cape, always staying calm in dangerous situations as I track down things that others miss. Even while balancing big trials and night-time violence, I’d still act like myself and make people laugh sometimes. By using my powers to stay ahead of problems and ensure justice is served, I would protect the people I care about and make my city safer.

In math this school year, I learned about my fractions and my system of equations, and plotting my points, and also graphing linear relationships. Also a system of equations is simply two or more equations that share the same unknown variables. To solve for x and y, you need exactly two equations.

I learned about cells, genes and DNA, how DNA works, animal cells and eukaryotic cells, what DNA looks like, and also changes over time. DNA is the master instruction manual for your body. It dictates how every cell grows, functions, and reproduces.

I didn't really learn much in social studies on the Oregon trail I learned a bit about it because of the game it taught me a little but not much. I wouldn't say it was his fault but with my classroom and the people in it it was pretty hard to learn much of anything.

What is something you learned in ELA, this school year?

In ELA I learned a lot, I learned how to write better and use my wording correctly, and how to shape a sentence and paragraph without using all the unnecessary words, also I learned how cite my text and size them up. To cite text evidence means to provide specific proof from a written work to support your answer, argument, or opinion. I also want to add that ELA taught me how to use my words without feeling embarrassed or anything, like just say what it means to me, wrong or right, it made me want to try more.
