One of the phrases for Peet's Coffee was “what Santa sips.” This uses the bandwagon technique with the use of Santa, a famous holiday character. The Holidays are all about happy, cheerful feelings and attitudes, so they want the buyers to feel happy so when they see their products it will persuade them to buy it. Using themed advertising is a very smart idea especially when used on food because everyone needs food so they have a very wide target audience.
