Most important to me has been a monthly time to reset and focus on assets, in a way that can be rare in our busy school life. It is easy to get bogged down in all of the things we want to do better and how we're not doing enough -- this was a great opportunity to flip that tendency on its head.

I am more likely to see myself as a collaborator who has a strength in working with teams. Generally, I would frame my strengths as being a detail-oriented planner and strategic thinker, but see that collaboration popped on the ASELA, it made me realize that I am now better positioned to put my other strengths to work WITH people.

I want to take one of the practice problems I identified through our "end product" work (in which I broke out the various assets that contribute to our "recipe" for the whole child at our school) and create a proposal for using a curriculum audit/adoption process to leverage these assets better align our curriculum and global competence goals. A key part of the plan will be bringing people together to do meaningful work as a team.
