<title>I am of Latina/Hispanic origin, with my mother coming from Mexico, and my father from Argentina. I was born and raised in the states, but had the privilege to experience a a bright and diverse upbringing. I feel blessed being able to speak Spanish, and eat various colorful and rich dishes. Sometimes my siblings and I would feel a little out of place growing up because we&#39;d feel too &quot;American&quot; for the Latino&#39;s, but too &quot;Latino&quot; for the American&#39;s. Thankfully that is not usually the case anymore. </title>

<title>Growing up I was raised as a Latter Day Saint/Mormon, but as I got older I distanced myself from the church. I had very supportive parents, so thankfully I don&#39;t feel any animosity towards the church. Living in Utah almost everyone has an opinion about Mormons, so it&#39;s an integral part of the culture here. I currently don&#39;t associate myself with any religion, but I do consider myself spiritual and open minded towards learning about other religions. I like to read about eastern philosophies/religion, such as Buddhism and Taoism. </title>

<title>Spirituality leads into yoga. I absolutely love yoga, and the people I&#39;ve met and the culture I&#39;ve experienced since adopting it into my life. I love using yoga to exercise, to meditate, and to better myself in general as a person. Since I really value the part that yoga plays in my life, I don&#39;t like to go too much into detail about it because I don&#39;t want it to lose it&#39;s meaning. I believe that if others are truly curious about it, they should investigate it on their own, whether it&#39;s through Youtube videos, books or classes. I&#39;m currently in a class to become a certified Yoga teacher as well. </title>

<title>Ever since I was a little girl I was absolutely smitten with the world of fashion, but I never considered it a serious passion. That is until I decided to go to school for it about a year ago. I&#39;m currently in the Fashion Design program at SLCC with an emphasis in Technical Design. Where a normal fashion designer comes up with the idea of the clothes, it&#39;d be my job to bridge the gap between fashion designers and manufacturers. After SLCC, i plan to transfer to the Fashion Institute of Design in Manhattan, NYC. </title>

<title>I went to culinary school for about 2 years (first year in high school, and the second year right after high school). I have always had an intense desire to create in the kitchen ever since I was little. I think being raised Latina/Hispanic played a big part in that since my Abuela (grandma) was always making salsas and beautiful traditional dishes, that remind me of the beauty and ingenuity of my people. I also love entertaining people and making them feel at home. </title>
