Last but not least, extreme heat can affect plants. The plants will die too. Plants cannot live if the temperature of environment is too hot. As we all know, plants in Malaysia needs a suitable temperature to live. Meanwhile, the hot temperature will affect the water. The water will evaporate and become dry. This will lead to the dying of plants because they need water to stay alive. Other than that, hot temperature affect the land of UMP. When the land absorb too much heat from the sun, drought will happen. If the plants is keep dying, we will die due to lack of oxygen.

The second effect would be on animals. The animals will die. The animals will experience an immense amount of heat stress which is increasing their panting, respiration rate and drinking also a loss of appetite and lethargy. For example, they are struggle to lose excess body heat through evaporation. The animal will experience heat stroke which is can kill or cause damage to the brain and other internal organ. It’s usually combine with dehydration which leads to failure of the body temperature control system, On the other hand, they will face an extinction. The temperature rise and a species cannot survive. They will begin searching for cooler areas. This is the reason of why animals will die from the extreme heat.

First major effect of extreme heat in UMP is the people in UMP is suffering from the heat. Direct heat from the sun to UMP students making their skin become darker due to excess of ultraviolet (UV) radiation. As a result, exposure of the skin to ultraviolet radiation will produce suntan. An excess of ultraviolet radiation can be life-threatening in extreme cases. For instance, when extreme heat is at its most deadly, it kills people by forcing the human body temperature to cool it down. Consequently, it will slows down the process in which the body temperature to remain normal. In this case, when our body is being exposed to direct sunlight, the body can lose as much as half of gallon of water for every 10 minutes which is known as dehydration. Another is, dehydration can interfere with the body’s internal thermostat, leaving it vulnerable to heat-related illness. As a conclusion, the UMP students’ skin darkens and burned as an example to the effects of extreme heat in UMP.

In conclusion, the people in UMP is suffering, the animals will die and the plants will die is the impact of extreme heat in UMP. The effects of extreme heat in UMP are common problems in UMP student’s daily life. Hence, UMP should provide more air-conditioner in every class and every corner of UMP to reduce the hot temperature.
