I think that a narrative story happens in detail and it uses certain character that it focuses on and tells the expierences that the character had and those inner feelings. It also explains what that character looks like. However in Essays we use detail but don't focus too much on the character. More about the signpost in this unit. We don't really explain what the caracter looks like in depth but we use appositives to give the reader a broad detail of the character that way they can look into their mind and imagine just what is happening. They are very similar because they both need editing and revising. They have to make sense to the reader.
Essays have elements in there. Like a book would not have a summary of itself but an essay would.

A Narrative Story can tell the reader more detail then a Essay can! An Essay only explains on one thing (topic). An story expands more and takes you there every step the character does. An Essay just gives you informane and text evidence from the story.

Something simallar with essays and narritives is that they both contain themes. A narritive has a life lesson or a theme and an essay writes about that story and what the theme is.

I think the similar thing about both narrative stories, and a thematic essay is most of the time your getting information from them. They both also have themes. The difference is in a narrative story you are getting a lot of information about the (characters settings and ect.) But in essays I think its more rushed. I also think most of the time essays are used for giving information but not in so much detail unlike narrative stories.
