Founded in 2009, KidsCAN focuses on community service, leadership development and fundraising to provide college scholarships. College scholarships are offered annually to graduating high school seniors who have a cancer diagnosis or have a parent or sibling with a cancer diagnosis. Each student is asked to commit to 15 volunteer hours to be part of the club. Community service credit and hours for Bright Futures Scholarships are given for every hour of participation. KidsCAN chapters are located throughout Collier and Lee County High Schools.
