Finally, I'm here. My family was here waiting for me to arrive. They had a hotel room ready for me to get here and I'm so happy to know that I've done it. It's crazy to think that I did without little from from anyone else. Wow! All the amazing people I've met, animals I've seen and places I've been. So many beautiful landscapes have had me walk through them and I'm lucky to have been there. Uluru, Blackbraes National Park, Coober Pedy and so many places have all been traveled through by me within 16 days. It's crazy to think that I've come all this way but now I'n so tired and need to sleep more than anything. My friends have organised a coming home party when I get back to Cairns. I'm driving back to Cairns with my friend who's got a horse float to take the horses back as well. Now I need to get some sleep.

I say goodbye to Gabby and left for William Creek. The trip was hot but it only took 8 hours. I can't image being animal that actually lived out in these crazy deserts! At the same time humans chose to live out here as well. I wouldn't survive living in the middle of Australia. Feels like a never-ending fire. So hot! Anyway in William Creek a happy surprise awaited me. Another friend of mine Maddy was there. She told me about her own trip she was on and we are spending the night together. I told Maddy about my struggle to find Gabby and she laughed. Let me say I was glad to have found Maddy in a shop that was above the ground. When Maddy and I were setting up camp we came across many snakes. I hate snakes so Maddy had to fight them away for. Ever since I was little I've always hated snakes. I better get to sleep now. I should be in Adelaide in the next two days.

The trip from Marla to Coober Pedy wasn't to long, only 11 hours. I did face a problem when I got there. My friend Gabby had to arranged to meet me at a cafe which, like everything else in Coober Pedy was underground. It took me forever to find the cafe, made me really see why I like living above the ground, because I can see where everything is. When I finally found Gabby we found a place to camp, we went for a walk to restock and to look around. We found that there was hardly any grass because of the hot climate and all the grass had signs next to them saying 'keep off the grass'. All that's in Coober Pedy is desert so I can see why the grass is so special to them.

I arrived at Alice Springs at 9:00pm last night. I'm going to be staying here for the next 2 days. I want to be able to take in the place, see all the loving things Alice Springs have to offer. This morning I went on a 3.6 km bush walk which took an hour called Bradshaw walk. I'm planning to go to Uluru later on today. Then tomorrow I'm going to restock and then the next day I'll be off to Ghan. I can't wait to be in Adelaide. It's so hot at the moment so I'm hoping that Adelaide will be a little bit cooler. Even though the weather has been so hot, Alice Springs has been great so far and the scenery is amazing.

I woke up so early this morning. Blackbraes was so pretty but I had to say goodbye. I left quickly and got on my way to Woolgar river. When I got there it was so beautiful. The river was flowing peacefully and it just felt relaxing. I washed the horses and Rusty and then I had lunch. Since I had the time I started to walk to Julia Creek. The trip was full of Kangaroos bouncing along. As it got darker the kookaburras started to laugh and I was scared that I would never get to Julia Creek. When I got to there it was dark. The place was packed with tents and vans. I can't wait until the morning when the place will be light up and I can see it.

We said bye to my family and then we were off. It took 13 hours to get here but now I'm here I'm so excited. I'm staying with my old friend from school Ella. I said to Ella that I want to do this without to much help so I'm camping in her backyard and not using any if her food. So far I haven't been able to see to much but I hope I will see some tomorrow.
