Consider the film in a general way. You might comment on what impact it has had on you, what it has revealed that you didn’t realize before, or what it has confirmed of your own sense of the dangers or opportunities of social media. You could indicate if you think it is a “good” or “great” documentary (or not).

I check my Instagram account a few times a day, however at this point I only check to respond to texts. I don't bother too much about the media being posted by other people. I don't feel pressured to check what they post, however instead my direct messages as that's one major way my friends and I connect as I don't have a phone number. I also don't feel pressured to post, as I post what I want and whenever I want.

What are 5 top tips you have for someone who might be starting on social media? State the tips and explain.

I think my top tips for someone starting on social media would be:
1. set your account on private first (you can change this later if you feel comfortable)
2. connect/add your friends
3. ask your friends how the platform works
4. only talk to people you know
5. avoid chainmail

I think these tips would help keep someone safe, especially when they do not know the platform that well. Setting up security to keep away from potential predators by setting a private account means unless you allow them, random people cannot see your profile/talk to you. Adding/connecting with your friends is what makes social media fun. They can help you get used to the platform. Lastly, chainmail that is sent though dms are completely useless. If you don't send that paragraph to 15 people, your mother will not be harmed. Trust me.

“On social media, you can edit yourself to who you want to be. Meanwhile, in person, you’re stuck with who you really are. It’s a constant battle that everyone faces whether they admit it or not.” (Humza Deas)

I think this quote is a good representative for the influencers on Instagram and many other individuals. However, it doesn't capture what social media is like for our grade. I believe that most of us are extremely true to ourselves, especially since we already know each other in real life.
Overall, I think this is a good documentary, and it shows both the best and the worst of social media. However, I don't think it applies too much to how I use social media.
