         <description><![CDATA[<div> Strong procedures, routines, and good, engaging instruction with little to no down time can combat pervasive negative behavior in the classroom.   Consequences are required in order to help students grow and learn. Just make sure that the consequence is appropriate for the students' actions and that you progress to more serious consequences with recurring infractions (progressive discipline). Knock those behaviors out one by one, student by student!</div>]]></description>
