Created functional society and stability in the world,

From the river-valleys of Mesopotamia to the Absolute Monarchy of King Louis XIV,

From the Roman Empire to Qing China,

All individually unique and brilliant in their own light,

With cultural advances in music, architecture, art, religion, and sport,

Intellectual prowess in math, language, literature, science, and writing, 

Economic prosperity with trade, manufacturing, and agriculture,

And political stability with monarchy, oligarchy, and empire,

But, although a wonder, also highly stratified and unbalanced.

A slow change, like an ocean’s breeze, swept over the world,

Uniting men, women, children,

Uniting all genders, sexualities, orientations,

Uniting the rich, middle class, poor,

Uniting politicians, laborers, teachers, police officers, firefighters, businesspeople,

Uniting all races, ethnicities, cultures, lingual groups,

Uniting Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, among many others

Uniting the world’s regions, countries, provinces, communities,

Uniting governments, societies, peoples, individuals

This changing wind of the world still unites, and encourages differences,

To continue a worldly change fostering the equality of all elements within.
