A gladiator is Spartacus. Spartacus was a gladiator who was also a slave. Spartacus was tired of fighting people just for the entertainment of people. So he led a war between slaves and Rome. Rome sent a army of 3,000 under the charge of Cladious Glaber. What Rome did was surround the slaves and leave them to starve but Spartacus and the slaves swung on vines and took out all 3,000 of them. The slaves pulled a victory, and more and more slaves joined. The Romans began to get scared and they sent a army of 50,000 and took Spartucus and his crew out.
