In my opinion, I think we should be taught cursive in elementary school. In the past, I have thought of cursive as a fun and fancy way to write. I loved learning it. Me and my friends had a blast trying to read and write each others cursive. But later that year we stopped. I would like us to be able to learn cursive because it will help us on the future. It would help because we would be able to have a different way to write, and we would be able to read cursive. Even if it takes more time, we should still be able to at least have the chance to speak our minds. And to me 5th grade would be a great time to start back up for me. :)
