While teaching in a school that is not within the bubble of the rest of my district I hear a lot of bias about my students. That my students will be the ones that don't get good grades, or they are the ones that steal. I went to a 95% all white high school and when I got to MSU I had a roommate from Pakistan, several hallmates from Indian decent, etc. I was worried I wouldn't be able to make friends with the people that lived in my hall.

In my previous school there was bias surrounding everything we did, from the fact that we were a charter school, to where we were located, to the students we taught, to the funds and resources we had.
