I added this clip to the discussion thread but it was such a great way for me to look at photosynthesis and respiration that I had to share here as well. Here they break the equation into small steps to see how you get the number of carbons. It also helped me to understand that the equation has to balance. I knew the processes were similar yet different but couldn't see it as clearly before. The equation just clicked for my math mind. Enjoy!

The biome that I believe is at greatest risk of ecological change is that of tundra. Global warming has been slowly changing the climate within these biomes for quite some time. The effects are a melting of glaciers and a greening of the land. The vegetation is changing as is the animal population in these areas.

I picked this diagram because I feel like it really points out what we have all been saying in our discussion. The population increased drastically during the Neolithic Revolution as humans began to change from hunters and gathers to farmers. The family members who would normally be off hunting were now home and families began to increase.

The combining of the best traits and a little added something something to produce this weird hybrid. This is the truest example of what genetic modification is in the simplest form.

This picture speaks to the destruction that humans are doing to our planet. If we continue as a society to live in excess and not think about the future of the world. We will be overrun with trash and eventually there will be no room for humans. We must stop now!
