         <title>This is a full-time position, with clinical responsibilities that involve the delivery of individual, family, and group support for patients with various cardiovascular diseases. The Psychologist will consult with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, and other medical providers to assist in supporting patients through the psychosocial adjustments faced after myocardial infarction, following an acute medical hospitalization related to heart disease, etc. The Psychologist is responsible for developing relationships with physicians from whom referrals will originate. </title>

         <title>The Psychologist should possess expertise related to evidence-based psychological treatments, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance &amp;amp; Commitment Therapy (ACT). He/She should be adept in the application of techniques like motivational interviewing, and may utilize biofeedback and other approaches for segments of the population. The Psychologist will conduct diagnostic interviews, screen (and/or test) for psychological problems, and provide behavioral modification and psychotherapy services to patients with heart disease.</title>
