         <description><![CDATA[<p>I do not use textbooks for my classes, for six years. <span style="font-size: 13px;">I am a professor of Catalan language in a neighborhood where there are many immigrant students.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">My students don't like study Catalan, because they never don't speak Catalan at home. </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">I need constantly to motivate the students and if I work on projects with tablets I have this possibility of motivation.</span></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We are a group of teachers who are interested in the use of tablets and mobile phones in the classroom.
We have a group to share on Google Plus all the new discoveries on applications.
At the same time there is to institute a commission of Cooperative Work, where we share experiences.
And finally, there is also a group of people interested in restorative practices.
All this makes this an appropriate time to try a school project for next year revolves around an axis of project work and tablets.</p>]]></description>

We recently started using an app called Classcraft and helps us to improve the performance of students now have become magicians, healers and warriors.

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday was the celebration of St. George, day books and roses. Every year our school celebrate this day with special activities. This year we have two activities with tablets and mobile phones.

1. An exhibition of poetic productions with QR codes.
2. A contest on two novels with all groups of 1st ESO, 80 students playing in the auditorium at Kahoots, teams and their notebooks.

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><b>How do you form groups of students for group work and why do you take this approach? Based on your experience what strategies of forming groups work and which do not work? Why?</b></li></ol>I work for two courses with cooperative groups in the classroom. The teams are composed of four students, one of whom is has leadership skills, another has learning difficulties and the other two are students who are in the middle of the classroom.
I keep this option as it is the literature on the subject advises.
I'm Catalan language teacher, my students speak Spanish, and I've got difficult to talk in Catalan when they work together.
Now attempt to solve this problem with Classcraft to encourage the use of oral language.<div><b><br></b></div><div><b>2. How do you keep your students focused and on track during collaborative projects? How do you ensure all students contribute to the task?</b></div><div>I think there is only one way they work seriously, whether in a group or individually miraculous formula that is the subject of the work is attractive.
I think that learning should seduce students.Now I have a project with my students of first level, we need study syntax.
What we will do is make an ebook with a novel with multiple possibilities reading the story focusing on each element of a sentence.<br><b><br></b></div><div><b>3. What strategies have you used to assess group work? What are the main challenges for you when it comes to assessing group work?</b>Each group member has a function within the group: spokesman, Secretary, responsible for material ... Students have goals for each project to work as a team and individual goals to improve within the team.
At the end of each project, by assessment rubrics, students evaluate their work as a secretary, spokesperson ... and evaluate the objectives, individual or collective.
Below are some examples of rubrics used.
My challenge for next year is that students evaluated their projects headings.</div>]]></description>
