We have two games we used to practice finding factors and simplifying with the GCF. One game required them to make a fraction with math cards (2 digits over 2 digits). Then with partners, students had to list factors and simplify the fraction and record their numbers on a recording sheet. The pair to simplify their fraction first wins all the cards. The second game used a game board. Students roll a die and find the GCF of the two numbers on the space they land on.
