Younger people are usually seen as "underqualified" for jobs while having the same experience as some older adults. Also if younger adults are laughing and having a good time, older adults will call them childish.

Elderly, old, senior, kiddo, girl, young lady are some examples of ageist language. I watched a video where someone told someone else they would get back to them after helping out an elderly couple (in front of a large group) and she immediately regretted it and had to give them a complementary upgrade. Some neutral terms to use would be older people or younger people.
