         <description><![CDATA[<div>We believe Public Policy should be created by officials who are most informed:<br>&nbsp;We chose this because the officials are much more informed on the topic of whatever they are voting and and that is a major factor when choosing laws. Another reason we think that they have the right is because it is partially their jobs to choose the laws for our country and do this stuff. Our final argument to why we think that the officials should be the ones voting is because the American people choose these officials to represent them in Congress and the Senate and the people should respect that they voted for the person to represent them.</div>]]></description>

The president could appoint someone who would only vote inn their favor.&nbsp;<br><br>Position B: it is the senate's duty to make an independent judgement of a nominee's suitability for a position serving the American people, even if that means denying the president of his choice.&nbsp;<br>The Senate could review the records of the nominees to see if they are worthy of holding the position<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
