Los Kichwa son un pueblo indígena dedicado a la agricultura. A la huerta. Caza y Pesca.
También un emprendimiento importante es el turismo, donde se pueden visitar sus comunidades y observar sus costumbres y tradiciones, de esta manera obtienen ganancias.

El Inti Raymi se celebra bailando y zapateando para rendir homenaje a la pachamama (Madre Tierra) y al Sol. 
El Kayak Raymi se trata que cada 21 de diciembre se le agradece al sol, es una fiesta masculina. Las fiestas de las mujeres Pawkar Raimy es una fiesta del florecimiento, es una antigua ceremonia religiosa andina en honor a Pachacámac o Pacha Kamaq.  
Y el Koya, Kolla o Killa Raymi son fiestas femeninas o de los equinoccios. 

The Inti Raymi is celebrated by dancing and tapping to pay homage to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Sun.
The Kayak Raymi is every December 21, the sun is thanked, it is a male party. The Pawkar Raimy women's festivities is a flowering festival, it is an ancient Andean religious ceremony in honor of Pachacámac or Pacha Kamaq.
And the Koya, Kolla or Killa Raymi are feminine or equinox festivals.

Por su puesto, son una base económica que pone dinero en circulación del comercio del Ecuador. Con la elaboración de sus productos se hace compras y ventas que dinamizan la economía, además también se crean fuentes de trabajo. Sus cosechas llegan a todo el Ecuador y algunos vegetales se venden en el extranjero.

Las comunidades Kichwa son aceptadas y reconocidas por el Estado Ecuatoriano, como lo dice en su Constitución. 
Sin embargo en la sociedad actual aún tienen desventajas como: en la aplicación de trabajos ejecutivos, limitándose a trabajos menos remunerados. 
El acceso a la educación también es limitada debido a la poca inversión en zonas rurales donde por lo general viven. 


The Kichwa communities are accepted and recognized by the Ecuadorian State, as stated in its Constitution.
However, in today's society they still have disadvantages such as: in the application of executive jobs, limiting themselves to less paid jobs.
Access to education is also limited due to little investment in rural areas where they usually live.
