Her chance for freedom came when she  had no choice but to maim her master. Her escape led to an unexpected reunion with her tribe and led to a chance to drive out the Romans from the island. This adventurous tale is gripping and full of twists and turns. I read it in 3 days and sometimes well into the night because I couldn't bear to put it down.
