Goal #1 for the program: Organization, I want to learn how to organize myself and my fellow CDA chapter members to support each other and our beliefs

Goal #2 for the program: Leadership development, I want to help develop others into leaders to bring our organization to the forefront

Strategy: I want to leave this program with a strategy campaign that will engage and inspire my peers at Northwestern and in the surrounding communities to get involved with democratic campaigns. Hopefully, this developed strategy will help increase membership engagement at Northwestern and encourage more young people to vote for democrats in midterm elections. 

Organizing everyone: I want to leave this program with clear ideas on how to effectively organize everyone. I want to learn how to approach people who may disagree with me or come from entirely different backgrounds and be able to successfully convince them to contribute to democratic causes.

Goal #1 for the program: Leader Development: I want to leave bootcamp with the proper tools to take over leadership over our chapter and to continue leading us towards our mission statement. 

Goal #2 for the program: Organizing: I want to leave Bootcamp with the confidence to organize my Chapter, especially on a campus as diverse as Montclair.

• Goal #1 for the program: I aim to develop workshops on campus that can inform the community college students at my school on political issues happening nowadays with a hope to bring their attention to politics in general and CDA in specific as a platform for action and change.

• Goal #2 for the program: I aim to learn more about political campaigns and processes in designing and executing state legislative and local issues campaigns with the hope to use that structure of process as a foundation for all the work I do professionally and advocating works.

Goal #1 for the program: learn how to become and better leader and facilitate professional discussion on progressive topics and organizing

Goal #2 for the program: learn more about college dems, how to work with other progressive orgs

Goal #1 for the program: Use what I learn in this program to create tools for ordinary high schoolers to make impactful change in our high schools like a database with educational tools (by the end of this program).

Goal #2 for the program: Use what I learn to lead a legislation proposal for my school board with my club and organize the students on my campus. (by a few months after the bootcamp).

Leader development: I want to leave Bootcamp with a clear plan for the fall to develop 3 Black, Latine, or working class leaders in my chapter so our next chapter leaders represent my community’s demographics.

Strategy: I want to leave Bootcamp with a clear issue campaign that excites ordinary people on my campus -- something we can really win in the legislature this spring, something that helps us grow our membership.

Goal #1 for the program: My first goal for the program is to develop a plan to organize a diverse group of college students on my campus to get involved with PSA and CDAZ this semester.

Goal #2 for the program: My second goal for the program is to learn how to communicate with legislators and advocate for the issues and communities my organizations care about so that our voices can be heard and influence local politics. 

Goal #1 for the program: I want to make organizing tools accessible to young people rural communities, free of charge. We need to be able to make these things have no barrier to entry. I want to create young leaders in the most grassroots way–boots on the ground. 

Goal #2 for the program: A way to do damage control in coalition building. I am tired of people in progressive spaces fighting about random things. We need to work together despite different world views in policy issues, and be effective coalition builders.

Team conflicts & dynamics: I want to leave Bootcamp with a better skillset to navigate team conflicts between individuals who don’t necessarily agree on everything. This would expand past dialogue and practices of calling in.

Organizing everyone: I want to leave Bootcamp with a plan to make organizing accessible for all identities within my community, whether it be individuals who are not comfortable in traditional forms of activism due to certain racial persecutions, or in terms of even physical accessibility – there is room in a movement for everybody.

Goal #1 for the program: Connect with the green caucus and create marketing strategies 

Goal #2 for the program: Bridge the gap between the older and younger generations in technology and voting rights
