The purpose of this wall is to create a simple way for Waking Up Inc. to meet virtually and reduce the number of face-to-face meetings that appear to overwhelm the team every week. By using the five steps of reflective thinking, I was able to find two online media resources that people use to “meet” in groups and communicate.

The Pareto chart below presents statistics of those who commute to work, people who have social media and finally who has access to a computer/mobile device at Waking Up Inc. In this diagram, it has a large arrow pointing to minimizing face-to-face meetings. The lines of the large arrow represent the main categories of potential solutions. The categories include the availability of staff members who have access to both social media platforms on their computers and mobile devices. The first option is to create a Facebook page dedicated to the company so that employees can come together and share ideas. Setting up a private group would be useful for the Waking Up Inc. because only those who are invited to join the page would be able to see any posts. Staff can send messages and share ideas for projects after work or on weekends, which allows the company to be more productive and efficient with technology. Another option is to use Skype for meetings instead of meeting in person; this will reduce travel time to and from conferences but allow the team to meet face-to-face in an online setting.
